Happenings in the family

Well it's been a while since I last wrote almost a month , but it's been a busy time for our family. We went on vacation to Myrtle beach,Sc the last week of July. We had a great time and I'll post those pictures tomorrow. Then when we were on our way home we got a phone call and said that my dad wasn't doing so well, so we hurried home(as fast as we possiblly could).

God granted us that, my dad held off until we got home he actually held out for 12 more hours. I thank God that we got to be with him in his passing to Glory! I know that he's in a much better place now, no more pain, not sick anymore. Which I'm doing pretty good, miss him every second because we were very close, but I know that I will see him again someday. And not everyone has that peace when a loved one passes away but God allowed us to witness that. My dad redediacated his heart to Jesus about 6 months ago, and the dr gave him 2 weeks to live on Fathers' Day but God allowed him to stay 7 more weeks(the perfect number). There was alot of cool things that happend before my dad passed away, I know cool in a time like this but God is good no matter what we are going thru, and no matter how hard the situation is God will get you thru. I have learned that first hand, but anyway the cool things that happend that you knew it was God was : my dad went out singing OH how I love Jesus, which was really cool, and then there was dove that flew past his window several times during the day, and he was in room 700 and was in the LightHOuse room, how great is God. Thru lil things God shows us that He is in control of everything. I know that I miss him, and it's ok to be sad but God has given me a peace that I truly can't explain, it's amazing because i thought i would be a mess. But I'm a Child of the Most High God and I don't grieve like those who don't know Him, I have a peace that surpasses all understanding and I have a hope that i know i'll see him again.

I have been praying for healing and i'ts finally taken place, a total healing in his body! Thank you Jesus. God is great and no matter what storm comes my way or your way always know that HE will get you thru and that doesnt' mean that He will stop the storm but He will get you thru it and calm it. Praise God no matter what you go thru and i'ts alot easier to get thru it!
