Trick or Treating with the Colt's!!!

Yesterday the boys had a blast going to the Colt's Fall Party. Even though it was along drive to get there it was well worth it. It was really neat going onto the actual Colts field where they play. Kristofer had fun sliding on the field like they do in the real games. They also got to stand by the field goal they thought that was pretty neat. There was a lot of games for the kids to play, so they could get candy. They had the colts inflatables for them to jump in and one that you slide down, which Kolton loved this one. Kristofer got a chance to get a few of the players autographs but I really don't know who they were all I know is it's #25 and #95. He thought that was pretty cool. And of course Kolton had to get the Cheerleaders autographs with their poster! He really liked that. They had a really great time and best of all they both fell asleep on the way home! It was a fun experience and I'm sure we will do it again next year. Here's a few pictures of them having fun last night, and of course you will see Jimmy had fun too! this is Kolton before we left he was a baseball player
This is the boys getting ready to run on the field
My three men standing by the field goal i don't know if they thought they were holding it up or not?
Kristofer playing a game The boys taking a break and eating their candy and drinking some juice!
Kolton picking out some candy and I dont know what Kristofer was doing?
Kristofer is so happy that he is on the Colt's Field!
Kristofer playing another game The Kool Aid man was there so Kolton had to get a picture with him He loves KOOL AID
As they say Like father like son? Jimmy loves KOOL AID too! Kolton and Jimmy giving the Kool aid man a high five
Kristofer geting autographs he is really excited
Kristofer is just happy we got to come to this Well some of the kids went down the slide the right way on their bottoms but my son Kolton doens't do anything like everyone else He went on his back upside down! Looks like he is having a blast. He loved it! And this would be Kristofer going down the slide the right way! But it doesn't look as much fun as what Kolton did. They are brothers but they have their own way of doing things!
They really loved standing on the Colts field on their helmet! What an awesome experience for them

whats been going on

Well not much has been going on these past few weeks so that is why there hasn't been any post! Kristofer had his last game of football this past Thursday he ddint' score any touchdowns but he did great, he also got a trophy! And soon enough basketball will be starting up in a couple of weeks so we are looking forward to that. We are excited about next week on Tuesday we are going to the RCA dome in Indy to go to a Fall party with the COLTS! Kristofer is apart of the Kids Club so they get to go and walk around and get candy with the cheerleaders and get autographs from the players it should be fun. He reallylikes that stuff. And we love the Colts so it's going to be fun for the whole family. We will be posting pics on here of that next week. Also next week are parent teacher conferences so we are looking forward to seeing how the boys are doing in school, i'm sure they are doing good but we will find out. And we will be posting it on here too. But that is all that is going on nothing that exciting. But we will have more next week. HAPPY FALL EVERYONE!

Blessed

I love this song called Blessed by Martina Mcbride, it sums it all up for me. There are so many times in life that we get discouraged and upset because we don't have this or that or we don't get our way. But we forget about all the things that we do have and what is important. And I heard this song today and it reminded me of what we have and that we truly are blessed.
So here are the words to that song:
I get kissed by the sun each morning put my feet on the hardwood floor
I get to hear my children laughing down the hall thru the bedroom door
Sometimes I sit on my front porch swing just soaking up the day I think to myself
this world is a beautiful place
I have been blessed I feel like I have found my way
I thank God for all I've been given at the end of everyday
I have been blessed with so much more than I deserve
to be here with the ones who love me to love them so much it hurts
I have been blessed
Across the crowded room I know you know what I'm thinking by the way I look at you
And when we'er lying in the quiet and no words have to be said I think to myself this
love is a beautiful gift
I have been blessed I feel like I have found my way
I thank God for all I've been given at the end of everyday
I have been blessed with so much more than I deserve
to be here with the ones who love me to love them so much it hurts
I have been blessed
When I'm singing my kids to sleep, when I feel you holding me
I know I am so blessed
I just encourage you to not take those things that we have been given forgranted because we are blessed to be with them.

Remembering

One of the hardest things that Jimmy and I have had to go thru was the loss of a baby thru a miscarrigae on August 30th , 2002. I know it seems like I should be over it by now five years is along time. But really it's not for me, there hasn't been a daythat's gone by that I haven't thought about that day. Even though God has gave me peace about it, and I have had a wonderful little boy after this, it's still a baby. So I have been thinking about this alot lately. I found a poem that I would like to share. I'll be there Daddy, please don't look so sad and mama please don't cry Cause I'm in the arms of Jesus and He sings me lullabies Please don't try to question God don't think that He is unkind Don't think He sent me to you and then changed His mind You see I'm a special child and I'm needed up above I'm the special gift you gave to Him the product of your love I'll always be there with you adn watch the sky at night Find the brightest star that is gleaming that's my halos bright light you'll see me in the morning frost that mist on your window pane that's me in the summer showers I'll be dancing in the rain When you feel alittle breeze from a gentle wind that blows that's me I'll be there planting a kiss on your nose When you see a child playing and your heart feels a little tug that's me I'll be there giving your heart a hug So daddy please don't look so sad and mama please don't cry I"m in the arms of Jesus and He sings me a lulaby

Where does the time go?

Where does the time go? As I celebrate my 28th Birthday today, I stopped and asked myself where does the time go? As a child I can remember wishing I was older, I'm sure all of us did at one point in our life, but as we got there why did we take those times when we were younger forgranted? Wishing our lifes away is what we did. If we can get it into our childrens heads not to rush their childhood, take the time to enjoy it and live it. Becauase in a moment it's gone and we can't get it back. Today just brought me back to thinking of how things were when I was a kid, the birthday parites, the slumber parites and all the fun we had. I'm glad I'm grown now and a mother and a wife, but sometimes it's nice to be able to think about those times when you were younger. I start missing things such as my grandma, and all nighters with girls and just doing crazy goofy things that now I wouldn't do. But it was all apart of what made me who I am today and I wouldnt' change it for anything. They were good times but just because you get older doesnt' mean those good times have to go away!

A Day with our neice

Sometimes it's great to have another girl in the house, even if she is only 2! We had the our neice Emily over Monday, she is so much fun! It's amazing how much our boys will listen to what she says! She is getting so big and it's been fun watching her grow up and learn new things, the boys tried to teach her how to play Football! They don't know anything else! Well here is a few pics we took of our evening together This is the 3 Crazy Kidz!
Kolton giving Emily a hug he loves her and she loves him!
Emily getting a picture taken with her Uncle Jimmy!
And of course, Kolton got jealous so he had to take
picture with Jimmy(dad) too! Emily was taking a toy away from Kristofer
and trying to hide it! She always will get her
way whether those boys like it or not!
After all the football and wrestling those boys
wore her out, look at her she is SOOO Sleepy!
Until her mom and dad came and then she was
raring to go! Isn't that the way it goes!
Well we enjoyed having her come and play with us
and we can't wait for her to come over again
