New Additon to our family

well we finally did it and got a puppy. And alittle disappointed though it's a BOY i'm still out numbered! oh Well it's so cute, we got him on Tuesday. My neighbor found him at her mother in laws with 3 other puppies like him, it's mom got lost in the flood and we don't know where it's at. But we said we would take it and we are glad we did! We took it to the vet and got his shots and medicine for worms, he did really well he's 8lbs and 3oz, and he is 7 weeks old. A baby for now but not for long the vet did say that he is going to be a big dog! We named him Smokey. I didn't even get to choose the name but that's ok. Jimmy's favorite college team is Tennesse Volunteers and their maskot looks like ours kinda and is names Smokey so guess what we had to do the same!! The boys are really loving him and he's really growing on me too, jimmy was acting like a little kid yestereday when we got him. Oh I forgot to say what kind of dog smokey is, he is a rotweiler mixed with a coonhound, so it's going to be big no matter what it mostly has rotweiler in him. well other than that we are doing ok, the boys had their trophy night last night also and they were really excited about that sorry i didn't even think to bring my camera so no pics, but you really couldn't see anyways. I'm glad that baseball season is over and we can enjoy the rest of the summer doing whatever we want instead of worrying about practice and games. We are looking forward to going on vacation at the end of july so about 4 weeks we are going to myrtle beach,sc. The boys are really looking forward to seeing the ocean and playing in the sand we are looking forward to everything but the car ride there. There is no change with my dad still hanging on but all plans are finalized so it's going to be easy with that part of it but we are still hanging on to God's unfailing hand and praying for the best . God know's what's best for everyone so we are leaving him in God's hands. Well tha'ts about it for now and I will post some more pics of everything later

life throwing you a curve ball

Well this past weekend was a hard time for our family as some already know that my dad is really sick, well the dr gave him 1-2 weeks to live. Which i know that God has the final call on this but it's still hard to deal with. It brings everything into a perspective. Life isn't guarnteed tomorrow for any of us but it makes it more real I guess. His kindney's are just about done, and potassiium levels are almost high enough to cause his heart to stop, he can't do any diayliss for the kindneys due to the infection that he has. so it' s a hard call on what to do. We had hospice come into day and talk with us we are going to have them come in now, so it was a final thing for us that we didn't want to have to face. We also had to do a lot of finalizing things with lawyer, will and all that it's not easy to talk about those things , but it needs to be done. I know where my dad is going when he does leave this earth, but no matter what it's hard. I'm a pretty strong person, and rarely let things get to me but this has really torn me up. I know that there are many people praying and I ask that you continue to do that in the days to come I'll keep everyone posted on what is going on as best as I can. But I just wanted to let everyone know that is why we haven't posted anything for a while. Other than all this the boys are doing really great, and having a great summer as best as they can. Kristofer scored 4 RBI"S this past saturday in his baseball game they won 7-2 and they won tonight in the tornment game and they play again on Saturday and Monday. Well that's all for now I'll post some summer pics at another time.

Well school is finally out and the weather is starting to warm up and baseball season is still going on. This past Saturday Kristofer pitched a really great game he had a lot of strikes and got some players out! So we are really excited about him learning this new position. The coach even nominated him to be on the ALL STAR team, they do some traveling short distances around vigo , clay and vermillion county but it's still a big deal to him but we won't know if he makes it unitl the last game which is in a few weeks. So i'll definetly let you know what goes on with that. Well not much else is going on expect I sprang my wrist this week and it;s been hurtinglike crazy hard to do anything typing is definetly not easy! But it's going to be alright. Well thats about it heres some pictures of Kristofer pithching his game and then getting ready to bat ENJOY!
