Tuesday Kolton had another baseball game and he did great! He's really starting to like and understand what he's suppose to do. It's a lot of fun watching him play, he's growing up so fast and i'ts fun watching every minute of it.

1st baseball game

The boys had their 1st baseball game for this season on Monday. Kristofer scored a run his team lost but he did get a hit and run , so we are proud of him. He's 2nd baseman he loves playing in the infield, he's quick and alert so that helps out. Kolton did great, we wasn't sure how he was going to do but I was very impressed! He had a game on Monday and Tuesday this week so he's been really busy. He hit the ball the first time the coach pitched to him, didn't use the tee at all!! The second time he batted, he hit the ball over the coaches head past the pitcher mound so he was pretty excited, in fact so exicted that he couldn't hardly run to first base! We have to work on the outfield he did stay out there and tried but that's all we can ask of him, it is his first year of this. We are very proud of them both and can't wait to enjoy this season, even though it's going to be busy we love it! kolton batting his first time! High School Musical on Ice!

Last weekend we went to the High School Musical on Ice in Evansville. It was alot of fun Kristofer really enjoyed it! That was part of his bday present. Hey I even enjoyed it, I was surrounded by fifteen 6yr old girls who were being nothing but girls, screaming and hollering they were having a great time and now I know why I have boys LOL . I'm glad that we got to go and spend some one on one time with each other, with everything that has been going this month he really needed that, and I needed to get away. (thanks Amber for selling those tickets)! Well here are some pics that we took while we were there.

Baseball season is finally here!!!

We are excited that this nice weather is here and the boys can play outside and baseball season has offically started. Kristofer is playing a new league this year he's very excited about that and Kolton is starting his first year of Tball! This should be fun with them both in different leagues different times and some on the same day at the same time. But we'll manage because they really love it. Kristofer is going to be playing second baseman and short stop so he's happy about that. Also Kristofer turned 7 yesterday! We are having his party next Friday so I'll post some pics when after that. I can't believe how fast they really do grow up. It seems like yesterday I had him and now he's 7 already. I have some pictures for you of Kristofer at his baseball practice and Kolton wearing his uniform for picture day last Saturday. The rest of the pictures are just for fun the boys being goofy like always(they have to get that from their father)!

Uncertainity

Life has thrown us a lot of uncertainity this past couple of weeks. We are dealing with alot of family situations. My dad is really sick and has been for a while now but this past week or so he's been really bad. The dr's aren't giving us much hope with him being around much longer. We have had to make a lot of decisions on what to do, and I've been thru alot in my lifetime with making decisions but this week has definetly been the hardest. I've learned this week that when life throws you uncertainity you have to hold on to the only thing that never changes or fails you and that is the hand of Jesus. No matter what you go thru in life when you are holding onto the hand of God it's alot easier. I didn't say it was easy by any means but it's comforting to know that when you are going thru things that you have someone that will never leave you nor forsake you and that He is right there to walk you thru it. I know i'm not the only one going thru situtons and for those that are going thru some hard times where you don't know what the outcome is going to be just know that when you Cast your cares on Jesus that He does listen and care for you. He doesn't always answer our prayers the way we want them to be answered but He does answer them His way. Sometimes having faith is the hardest thing but it's the best thing to do. Even though life has been hard these past couple of weeks I have peace because I know that no matter what WE win If you have Jesus in your life you win no matter what. I have peace because I know where my dad is going should the Lord take him home. He'll be going to a much better place then he is at right now, and it won't be long that we will be with him once again. I know that it's not easy to let go but sometimes we have to let go and let God take control of what is going on in our lifes. Thanks for all of you that have been praying I know that it's helped. I'll post more things later there isn't a whole lot going on right now.
