Having fun

Last week we had the pleasure of watching our neice Emily. We had so much fun it was nice outside so we got to go out and play they had a blast. Kristofer was still in school but kolton loved playing with her. It's always nice when we get the chance to watch her because we don't have a girl so it's always fun watching her. She is definetly a bundle of joy and has a lot of energy! Here are some pics of kolton and emily playing outside on the bikes and drawing pics with side walk chalk.
Then they went inside and played with the toys and of course posed for pics because they both love getting their picture taken!
Well there isn't alot going on right now in the Julian house but as soon as there is we will defintely post it!

Family Fun

Saturday we took the boys to the ISU game. Kristofer got a free ticket for perfect attendance so we all went it was pretty fun even though we aren't ISU fans. Kolton had a blast he loves watching basketball and any sport. But it wasnt really the game that was fun it was the fact that we were all together spending time with one another. Which is so important, because as many of you know those kids do grow up way to fast! So we need to cherish every moment that we have with them even if it's doing something as small as going to a college basketball game they will remember those things.
And for all that know that Jimmy had pneumonia and he's doing alot better been back to work all week so PRAISE GOD! IT was a crazy week last week but we made it thru, so anyway

Still I will trust

We use to sing this song at church called " Still I will trust you" and here are the words to that: Still I will trust you Still I will follow still I will listen to your every calling though the storm rages on and I can't find my way Still I will trust you LORD Such an easy song to sing during church service, but such a hard song to live the other days of the week huh? But there comes a time when you have to trust at whatever the cost. I know it's easy to say it and hard to do it but with God all things are possible. We all have storms in our everyday lifes but God is the peacespeaker and He can choose to stop the storm or be in the storm with us, but no matter what He will never leave us nor forsake us. Trust isnt' an easy thing to do in the world that we are living in but God isn't like everyone else we can fully rely on Him and He will see us thru all that life brings our way. Because no matter what we are going thru God knows our beginning to our end and He knows what the end result is and the reason why we are going thru those storms so don't give up because the storm might be coming to an end. And I'm sure all of you have heard the song Praise you in the storm by casting crowns, that song has really been dealling with me lately also, sometimes we have to praise to see the breakthrough in our life , and once again not easy to do., especially when we have trials and storms everyday in our life. It would be easy to give up sometimes and not press thru but that's not why we have those things happen we have to press thru and praise Him even when it's not easy. God never said it would be easy. You know in that song by casting crowns the verse says "I was sure by now that you would have reached down and wiped our tears away stepped in to save the day." and that is so true so many times these past couple of years i have wondered that over and over again thinking that God would step in and save the day and make it all go away and everything go back the way that it was but that isn't what has happened so far. Everything that has happened these past couple of years is been opposite of what I thought would happen. But God has shown me that His ways are higher than mine and His ways are far better than mine.I don't know why but God does and if I can trust and praise thru it I'm going to see great things happen. I may not know all the answers but I don't need to I just need to know Jesus and He will take care of it. 1 PETER5:7 says " cast your cares on Him for He cares for you".
