IT's that time of year !

Well Thankgiving is past us this year and it's moving on to another time of celbration! I love this time of year, except for the cold but it comes along with the territory living in good ole Indiana! IT's moving on to a busy time for alot of us, with Christmas shopping, kids programs and all the things that come along with Christmas. But let's not forget about the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. It's so easy to get caught in all the things around us and we forget about what we are really celebrating Jesus! The best gift we can give our family this year isn't wrapped up in gift wrap and bows it's sharing the love of Christ to those that don't know Him
and encouraging those that do know Him.
This season can bring alot of things with it, families not getting along and past hurt that comes up, but let us set our differences aside and be a light for Jesus and remember to put Christ back into Christmas, and not Happy Holiday! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! And here is a few pictures of our christmas, the big one is mine and the small one is the boys it's done by them! And then we have outside things too, but I'll have to post those later!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

what a weekend!

We had a great time with family on Thankgiving it was a blessed day. We went to be with Pastor and Karen, Jimmy's brothers Kris, Josh and Dusty and wonderful sister in laws Hannah and Sara( soon enough Ashlee). And a lot more was there also, we had nephews- Aaron and Nate , and neice Emily which is always fun seeing them and watching the boys play with them.
And Bo and Pa( grandparents), and Uncle Guy and Jane and Matt, Angie and their five kids and and Scott. It was alot of fun justt eating and spending time with everyone.
God has really blessed us with a great family and friends and this season is a great time to remember and think about those blessings! Even though there is so much we don't understand and would like to see happen in our family, we have come to realize it's not about us but about HIm and HIs plans for our lifes! God knows us all by our own name and He has blessed each one of us with different things for His glory. Im very thankful this season for alot of things but most of all for salvation, my family and friends!
Then after Thankgving we had a lot going on the rest of the weekend to, I of course had to fight the crowd on Friday morning going to walmart at 3am! I know I'm crazy but it is fun, I did get alot of great deals and alot of my shopping done so I'm excited! Then we had our nephew Nate's 3rd Birthday party on saturday since they don't live here anymore it was nice to celebrate his birthday together. We are so blessed to have Nate in our family he is a great little boy, and God has done so much in his life and is going to do so much more in the years to come! I can't wait! here is some pictures we took at his bday party.

Busy but Thankful

Well we haven't written anything for awhile, there really hasn't been a whole lot going on, except just being busy! That is the story of our lifes lately, running non stop. Well Kristofer started basketball again this season, so that means more practices and games during the week. And we all know that the holidays are upon us, so that means alot going on. We are excited about Christmas coming up, I can't wait to put up our decorations! But I'm sure Jimmy can wait! He gets the outside while I get the inside. I love this time of year with Thanksgiving coming up in a week and then Christmas, its the best time of the year. I can do without the cold weather but I love this season. Even though there is alot of shopping to do , food to make, decorations to put up and the list goes on we can't forget the real reason for this season. And I encourage you this season not to get caught up in all that goes with this season but stop and really think what's important. I know it's fun to get gifts and find that perfect gift to give but it's not about that to me, it' s being with family and just reallizing how good God is, and look at all He has given us. I'm just really thankful this season and I hope that everyone who reads this too will stop and give God thanks for all the blessings He has given us this year.
