God"s Comfort when you are going thru life

One of the many names for the Lord is Comforter. What a perfect description. His prescence can make you comfortable in the most uncomfortable situations. He can pull you out of every situation you thought you'd be stuck in forever. He has the ability to bring peace to every trauma we face in our life. I believe that the God of comfort even catches your tears and collects our pain. He is with you with you hurt and He will always be there for you. You will live and love and experience lossbefore your life is over. Losing somethings will help you appreciate what you still have. It's the bitter taste of poverty that makes prosperity so sweet. How can you celebrate victory if you have never faced defeat? You will live each day not knowing what the next one will bring. You will not always be able to see what tomorrow holds, but it's great comfort to know the one who holds tomorrow. Tomorrow is not in the hands of your boss, husband, children, your parents. It's not yours to manipulate or dominate. Tomorrow is in the hands of the Lord. Whatever you do,take time to get to know Him, becasue you will need Him. Speakd to the God of all comfort, for His comfort is sure for every tomorrow. He will be there when your parents, husband, friends, children , jobs , and money is all gone. He is there for all your dark places. Now take courage it does say in His word "Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning" Ps 30:5 Your night may seem so long at times but when it's over there will always be joy in the morning. No matter how dark the night, you've always lived to see the light. Understand that God's grace that has protected you and provided for you brought you through and secured you, calmed you and comforted you. Times change and seasons change but not God. He is always the same. HE is the same God who brought you through your past and promises you your future. The God of all comfort has come. This was a devotion that I read this evening, it's so true. There are so many times that I wanted to give up and throw in the towel because sometimes life isn't good lets face it sometimes it really stinks but we have to know that no matter what we are going through God is our comforter and He will always bring us through. And it's not on our time schedule and we have to trust Him. These past couple of years there has been a lot of tests and trials that our family has had to go through. Notice I say Through because we didn't let the enemy keep us there. It wasn't easy and it's still not but I know that God is great and no matter we WIN. But we serve a God who is a healer, provider, comforter, our peace, joy, strength, a strong tower we can lean on. If there is one thing that I have learned in the past few years in the midst of lifes trials and storms God is still there holding our hand and He never let go. And thru everything that has went on the past couple of years some may never know but God is good and never let your circumstance stop your praise. PRAISE HIM THRU IT! There is a older song that we use to sing at church when I was little and sometimes still do, it's called Thru it all I 've learned to trust in Jesus, I have learned to trust in God, thru it all, thru it all I've learned to depend upon His Word.

Family Fun at HOLIDAY WORLD

We took a trip to Holiday World last Thursday, it was an adventure I must say. We did have alot of fun though. My mom, stepdad,my two sisters with my nephews came with us also. It was fun spending time with each other and watching the kids ride the rides, and enjoy themselves. But in all reality I don't know if it was the little ones or the Big ones who had the better time. Like they say we dont' ever grow up, and that is the case when you go to an amusement park. We did ride alot of rides and did alot of walking in the hot sun, but it was well worth it! And of course along with every trip there is always pictures to go along with it, so here are a few pictures of what we did and just some fun ones also. In the van on the way down to Holdiay world. This is my mom and ME!
Like always when you go somewhere, who is doing all the work? That's right not the Men! Here is prove that it's true, this is Jimmy and my stepdad Jim( my mom had to try and be like me so she married a guy with the same name)! I don't know what they think they are doing, the pole can hold up all by itself! LOL
And along with rides of course you have to stop and eat that wonderful park food! These are two of my nephews Jace( with the goofy look) and Karter who is so stinkin cute. And then here are some rides that we rode while we were there. The Old fashion cars, I bet my mom felt right at home LOL. This is Kristofer and my nephew Blake, thank God they don't get their licese for awhile!
Kristofer and my nephew Johnathon riding on the boats. They really look like they are into it, really focused on not tipping the boat!
Then like I said the BIG kids are really into playing! This is my stepdad Jim riding on the bumper boats, looks like he is having a blast! And what is he wearing? Shorts? I never thought I would see that happen!
Another BIG kid, using her son Johnathon as an excuse to play! We all know Beth lkes to be where the fun is, so once again here is some proof! Does she ever stop posing infront of the camera? So far NO Kolton really liked this ride but in a sec you will see his reaction to the first ride he rode on!
When we first got there we thought we would ride a slow paced ride the octupus, well we might have thought that but look at what Kolton thought.....
Obvisiouly not the same as we thought. He did ride it although he screamed the entire time
Now this is more what Kolton looked liked the rest of the day he really did enjoy himself. He liked riding the cars with Daddy because he actually got to drive this time, and Jimmy is very happy that we have 12 more years before he even thinks about getting his license! Then at the end of the day we took the boys to the play area where they had a water park for the kids. It was really fun as you can see Kolton really loved getting wet, or should I say Soaked! But as long as he was having fun we weren't going to bother him. Well what really could we say to Kolton getting wet when his Dad was doing the same thing! See what I mean BIG KIDS!
Well not everyone could get wet that day, Johnathon had a broken arm so he had to play on the playground instead but he was still having a great day! He got to hang out with his Aunt Amanda what more could he possibly want? Then as the day was coming to an end we had to say our sad good byes to HOLIDOG! So here is a few pics with him and of couse you will see that the BIG KIDS are definetly getting their picture taken with Holidog!
Beth and Holidog Blake with Holidog Jimmy, Kolton and Holidog Well since everyone else was getting it done I decided to get mine taken to!
Before we left one more picture this would be Blake , Jace and Karter
Kolton is saying some on are we ready to go yet? I'm getting really tired Brayden is giving up on us ever leaving so he is going to go to sleep anyway he has had along day! So we decided to go ahead and go home. We all had a great time and we can't wait to go back again!

A DAY AT THE ZOO

Last week we took a trip to the zoo! We had a great time looking at the animals but we really liked the ocean part where we could touch the sharks!
We also had a great time at the dolphin show, which is my personal favorite.
Kristofer got a chance to feed the giraffes which he really liked.
Then of course they had to go and play at the water park which was great since it was very HOT oustide that day.
And then here is some extra pics we took while we were looking at the animals and eating lunch.

Day with the family

Yesterday we spent the day celebrating the 4th of Juy with family, friends and a whole lot of excitement! First we went to the parade which was ok but it wasn't what we thought it was going to be but we had a good time. The boys really liked looking at the horses and most of all getting CANDY!

Then we made a trip to their mamaw Debbie's house for a cookout, it was fun spending time with my sisters and all my nephews. The boys had a great time playing with their cousins and eating food!

Then after we had a great time there we went to spend time with more family and friends. We took the boys to their Uncle Kris and Aunt Hannah's house where they got to spend time with their one and only girl Cousin Emily! Uncle Dusty was also there which they loved playing around with him, and his girl friend Ashlee. Some of our other friends were there also Dan and Amanda and their new baby Abe, it was a night we didn't even get home until 3 am so it was along night.
